About Hinocho Designs

Hi, I’m Amanda! My creative journey started with photography and scrapbooking, but everything changed when my husband asked, “Can you make me a shadow box?” That one request sparked a passion for designing layered, 3D art that tells a story.

Today, Hinocho Designs specializes in these signature shadowboxes, along with bookmarks and ornaments. My mom has stepped in to help with the production of the bookmarks and ornaments, and you’ll usually find her right next to me running our vendor tables. 

Hinocho -Japanese for “Fire Butterfly”- blends my love for butterflies with my husband’s admiration for the phoenix. It’s a true partnership of art and purpose, creating meaningful, handcrafted pieces one design at a time.
